X-ray

At the HBMedical clinic, all x-ray examinations are performed on a 2021 expert-class digital x-ray machine DRGEM DIAMOND (South Korea) with:

• ultra-sensitive detector
• minimum possible radiation load

It is important that HBMedical provides the possibility of transfer in a specially equipped medical car for patients who have difficulty moving due to injuries or damage, as well as for patients with special needs

In most cases, the procedure for conducting digital radiography at HBMedical does not require special preliminary preparation, and we most often recommend:

• Make sure you have no contraindications, for example: pregnancy (especially in the first trimester)
• Refrain from eating a few hours before the procedure
• Take with you the results of previously completed studies and a referral from a doctor (if any)
• Come to the medical center early (15-20 minutes)

First of all, it is necessary to understand that the process of conducting any digital X-ray involves the presence of only the Patient in the X-ray room. However, in no case should you worry, because our specialists will closely monitor you from the beginning to the very end of the procedure through a special window.

Immediately before the examination, our specialists will invite you to a special “procedural” room, where we will ask you to temporarily remove any metal objects, especially those in the examination area (jewelry, bracelets, wedding rings, earrings, bracelet, etc.)

After that:

• Depending on the area of examination, you will need to take a certain position according to the instructions of the X-ray laboratory technician or X-ray doctor
• During the examination, you should be as still as possible, since extra shadows and “doubling” can prevent specialists from examining the picture

Upon completion of the scanning procedure:

• the radiologist will issue a report, and together with the DVD, the study will soon be handed over to you
• it is also possible to order a printout of the results of the X-ray taken by you on film
• You can make an appointment for a free consultation with a therapist

We emphasize that the dose of x-ray radiation received during digital radiography is strictly calculated and is within the permissible radiation load and, accordingly, cannot harm your health.
