Preparation for breast implant replacement surgery

The breast implant replacement procedure is a surgical correction method. Preparation begins with a surgeon examining the patient, examining the body and analyzing previously performed plastic surgery.

Operations are not performed during pregnancy and lactation. A contraindication is exacerbation of chronic diseases, infections and other pathologies. However, after the patient’s condition improves, the operation is performed in the usual mode.

Replacement and removal of implants from the breast is performed with an individual approach to a specific case. It is impossible to perform such an intervention in a pattern, because each patient has their own characteristics. The technique includes several strategies:

• Normal removal of the endoprosthesis without its replacement. In this case, the surgeon removes the implant without the capsule. The tissues around this site remain unchanged.
• Complete removal. The advantage of the technique is the removal of scars that have formed as a result of endoprosthesis.
• Partial removal. The implant with fragments of the capsule is removed.

• 7-14 days: regular check-ups with a doctor, care for stitches and bandages;
• 2 weeks: reduction of pain symptoms, gradual formation of a new breast shape;
• A month after correction: repeated examination, correction of treatment taking into account the speed of healing of the stitches;
• Two months: at this stage we can already talk about the desired result.

Swelling and pain are practically absent. Provided the rehabilitation process is normal, the patient can gradually return to activity.
